Dear Students & Prospective Students,

Welcome to our new web site and our newest location in beautiful Santa Barbara, California! We are so honored to be a part of this community and we are dedicated to staying on the cutting-edge of martial arts fitness and making a difference in people's lives.

I remember the first time I saw Bruce Lee as he jumped up and kicked out a light bulb, dealt with the bad guy and saved the day – I wanted to do that! Little did I know, that desire set the stage for even greater rewards in my life as a result of martial arts training. Rewards such as better self-esteem and confidence, wonderful friends, keen instincts and fast reflexes. Martial arts helped me with my discipline and focus so that I could get good grades in school even though I struggled with learning disabilities as a child!

Since the founding of Hapkido International in 1981, I have been committed to sharing these rewards with thousands of students across the country. It has been my vision to help each student enhance every area of his or her life through martial arts training.

Everyone would like to look and feel their best and with proper exercise and nutrition, you can. At Martial Arts Family Fitness, we help with that and we also provide training that will stimulate the mind and spirit! Regardless of your age, we have programs that can get you into the best shape you can imagine.
